An autopsy will be performed today on Jessica Lloyd.

The body of the 27-year-old Belleville woman was found yesterday near Tweed, 11 days after she disappeared.

Colonel Russell Williams, the base commander of C-F-B Trenton, was charged yesterday with first-degree murder in Lloyd's death.

He was also charged in the recent death of Marie France Comeau, who was with C-F-B Trenton's 437 squadron.

Russell is also charged with sexual assault and forcible confinement in alleged attacks on two other women in Tweed last September.

Less than a week ago, Belleville Police Chief Cory McMullan said her goal was see Jessica Lloyd return home.

But yesterday, Chief McMullan, holding back emotions, told a news conference the case of the missing Belleville woman did NOT end as she hoped.

McMullan offered her condolences to the Lloyd family and to the families of the other victims of the crimes in Brighton and Tweed

The accused, Colonel Russell Williams, was remanded in custody following a brief court appearance yesterday.

He will appear again by video conference on February 18th.
