A man is under arrest for the disappearance and death of a 27-year-old Belleville woman who went missing almost two weeks ago.
The man, who has not been identified, was arrested in a joint effort by Belleville and Ontario Provincial Police on Sunday.
Jessica Lloyd was reported missing on Jan. 29 after she did not show up for work.
Lloyd was last known to be at her home where she lived by herself on Highway 37. Although she was not at home, her identification and glasses were left inside.
Police say the investigation also uncovered other incidents that will lead to additional charges against the male.
Police will provide additional information on the case at a news conference in Belleville scheduled for 1 p.m.
